1. How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy.

Click on the type of class you want to take to see the calendar of upcoming classes. Our Instructor lead canvas painting classes and wood sign workshops require pre-registration so that we can have adequate time to prep and customize your material. Project selection and customization information for your project is required at the time of booking for the custom wood signs. Please be sure to double-check your spelling and information to ensure your project stencil and materials will be ready for you at the start of the workshop.

For Canvas Painting Classes please register no later than one (1) day prior to the start of the class so we have time to prepare for you. Please register at least 2 days prior to the start of our custom wood sign workshops.

2. What is Open Studio?

Open Studio times are available most days we are open. Please note that Open Studio means pretty much means YOYO (You're On Your Own). There will be an instructor in the studio but if there is an Instructor lead class going on while you are enjoying Open Studio time that class has priority and the instructor can assist you when possible. We suggest you call ahead to make sure the studio isn't closed for a private party.

3. What day are classes held? How long does the class last?

Classes are held during the evenings Monday through Friday and various times during the weekend. Check the calendar for events. Our canvas painting classes are usually around 2 hours long and our custom wood sign workshops are about 3 hours long. Sometimes we finish prior to that time and if the guests are having a great time they sometimes last a little longer.

Please note! Classes will start and finish on time. If you are not able to finish your project before the end of the class, we will offer to allow you to paint while our instructors clean up and/or send you home with paint so you can complete your project at your own pace.

Open Studio times do not extend our business hours so please plan your session accordingly so you can finish your project.

4. What does a class cost?

Classes costs vary. Check each class listing for current pricing. Ceramic painting and fused glass activities are based on what pottery item you select, or what size fused glass project you choose to make. Ceramic painting pricing includes all the supplies and firing. Fused glass pricing includes one (1) firing. Slumping and additional firing is available for an extra fee.

5. What time do I arrive for a class?

We start at the official listed time, we ask that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the class start time to allow you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.

6. Is there reserved seating?

Generally you are welcome to sit wherever you choose. We can do our best to accommodate groups, just let us know when you make your reservation.

7. What is the cancellation policy?

A full refund can occur if notification of cancellation occurs within 24 hours of making the reservation. The reservation can be put on hold or transferred to another class if notification is received at least 24 hours before the class start. Loss of payment will occur if no notification of cancellation occurs or if notification occurs less than 24 hours.

8. What do I need to bring to class?

We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and aprons for the class. All you need to bring are any drinks and/or appetizers you might want during the class. We also provide the plastic cups, corkscrews, ice buckets and we have plates and napkins.

9. I don't know how to paint or draw, will I be able to complete my painting?

Our artist(s) will guide you step by step through the featured painting and will show you how to paint the selected painting for the evening. There are no rules on how you should paint your masterpiece. Each one is as original as you are. This is intended to be a fun, social evening. Acrylic paints dries very quickly so your painting will be ready to take home after the class.

10. Do you offer gift cards and how can I use one?

Yes, we offer gift cards. Come by or purchase online. Once you add a reservation to your shopping cart you enter your gift card code and apply to the reservation.

Electronic Gift Cards have a 12 month expiration.

11. Why can't I see next month's classes?

We normally post the next month's calendar the 15th of each month.

12. What should I wear to class?

We will provide you with an apron. We suggest dressing comfortably but you can come dressed up or down, whatever you prefer.

13. What is the return policy for gift products purchased?

We will offer a store credit for any tangible, physical item purchased in the studio that is returned unused and undamaged within 7 days of purchase. This does not apply to any purchase of a canvas painting class, pottery painting class, fused glass class, wood sign workshop, or any other class or activity.
